A table by the window

We do not collect peaks. We collect rooms.

The test of a lodge is simple: would you regret leaving the table. Light low enough. A window that does some of the talking. A kitchen that will do one more round after the sensible people have gone up.

The mountain is the invitation. The lounge is the reservation. When we scout, we start there — chalets, corner tables, houses that understand arrival is the point of the trip.

Names will come when they have earned a seat. Until then, this is the standard. If the room fails it, the view cannot save it.
